Alumni Testimonial

Kevin Stone graduated from SMCS in 1983, after having attended since the 5th grade.

He then graduated from Calvary Bible College in 1987 with a degree in Christian broadcasting.

After graduating from Calvary he became the youth pastor at Olivet Baptist Church for 7 years. He also taught English and drama teacher at SMCS and MOCS for 12 years.

Currently he is the pastor of Overbrook Bible Church, teaching drama at Overbrook Attendance Center, and hosting a radio show on KLJC-FM.

Our last “All Alumni” reunion took place on Saturday, June 26th, 2010 at Shawnee Mission Christian School in Westwood, KS. We had many former students and teachers who attended and reconnected.

Then, the weekend of October 7-9, 2011, Olivet Baptist Church celebrated their 100th anniversary. Friday evening, October 7th we had several former and present students of SMCS here for our celebration, and had a great time of fellowship together.
