Shawnee Mission Christian School is a Ministry of Olivet Baptist Church.  Our school   accommodates children grades K-12.   We also have introduced Wee-Care which   includes our infant and toddler unit, caring for children 6 weeks to 2 ½.  In   addition, we have 2 ½ to 4 year old care which includes our preschool program.
In Kindergarten through 6th grade we use the A Beka curriculum for instruction.

For our Junior and Senor High School we use curriculum from various publishers, including ABeka, Bob Jones University press, and Switched-On-Schoolhouse computer based curriculum.  In addition to the core subjects SMCS offers electives in the areas of vocal music, art, drama, foreign language (French), yearbook, and computer.
